View the Farm |
Children are very welcome to come and help with egg collection or feeding. The morning feed is rather early in summer, 6:30 - 7:15 or in the afternoon 4:00 - 5:00. (Times can vary, check with me in advance) Let me know so I can plan my day and try to bring some wellies!

Our
Peacocks:

Bill and Ben.
We had some 20 year old ganders around, but no females (due to a fox), therefore no eggs. One day I found some goose eggs for sale at the local shop in Coombe Bissett, so we put them in the incubator and waited. Two of the four eggs hatched after 28 days. The result was Bill and Ben.

They have now been joined by Bubbles and Desiree, their two lady friends.

and a few more...
Some of our Ornamental Ducks.
These ducks are not for eating of egg laying, their only function is to look pretty and amuse us by their antics!

Some Domestic Ducks:

Lucky with Sue Duck and
Peggy
Some of our Apricot call ducks.
Some of our Chickens:
Our chickens provide us with all our eggs. They live here until they die of old age, so we have some very old ladies running around.

Dennis the Legbar and his
wife - she lays green/blue eggs.
