Walking in the Area.
Walking on Martin Down Conservation Area. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is only 5 minutes away by car.
Harnham Water Meadows near Salisbury Cathedral. The Harnham Water Meadows, within the city of Salisbury, are part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and are an Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA). See the website: www.salisburywatermeadows.org.uk
Walking around the old and new Wardour Castle. It is a pleasant walk through fields and along tracks. Old Wardour Castle dates from the 14th century and was the site of two sieges in the Civil War.
Walking around Broadchalke and Bishopstone, go and see the Fovant Badges. Lunch at the Queen's Head in Broadchalke.
